Justin Jones Landscapes & Gardens designed this Herefordshire garden to include a water feature that looks exactly like a natural stream. Fed from a large underground tank, the stream surfaces at the top of the garden to fill the ornamental pond, then meanders its way down the river washed pebble bed all the way to the foot of the garden, where it sinks underground to be pumped back to the top again. As with all of our garden designs, close attention was paid to making the garden look natural and organic, so we carefully placed and positioned large and small stones on the bends of the stream to mimic the natural behaviour of water courses.

Enjoying your garden
As part of designing this Herefordshire garden, Justin Jones Landscapes & Gardens also laid a large area of stone paving in front of the house to create a number of raised beds and a sheltered outdoor dining area. The existing garden had several original features, and we were careful to incorporate these into the design. We also installed a run of palisade fencing to provide screening atop a row of granite blocks, and gravelled the drive up the side of the house.
